Reseller Check List – Onboarding AWS Clients


 

Before you can Add or Link and AWS account, the following items should be completed:

Add or Link an existing AWS Account

The process for linking an AWS account may be performed in the platform management console (SES) or from the End Customer portal

Select "Amazon" from the Cloud Provider List

 Enter the 12 digit AWS account number    Reseller/Client

Enter the root email address    Reseller /Client

Setup ARN Role*  (Instructions in platform)Reseller /Client

*Note:  A workflow request is sent to the SES Cloud Operations team for approval.  When approved, an email is sent from Amazon Web Services to the root email address.  The owner the AWS account must complete the linking request via the link embedded in the email or within the Account screen of the AWS console, under Consolidated Billing. 


Request new AWS Account

The process to request a new AWS account may be performed in the platform management console or from the End Customer portal

Note:  Provide the email address for the new account.  This will be the "root" user login credentials for the AWS Account.

*Note:  A workflow request is sent to SES Operations for approval.  AWS account is assigned and end user credentials to the new AWS account are sent to the email address listed in the client screen, email address field.
